According to the head mistress, Biliah Boyani, the school has been facing problems, especially during the rainy season, when the classes leak, and also water flowing in classes due to a poor drainage system in the school.

“We really thank the CDF committee for choosing the school as the beneficiary since the situation in the school was worsening, the money they have sent to the school account will be enough for the construction of eight new classes,” said Boyani.

According to Bonchari CDF committee chairperson Jared Mogere, the school was chosen to receive a higher amount compared to many schools in the constituency due to the conditions that they faced.

“We want to see the school built within the required time as this will see the utilization of the CDF kitty that is put in our hands,” said Mogere.

Nyasagati got the kitty after an embarrassing situation late last year when heavy rains swept half of its class rooms, leaving many students to study under trees.
