Makau also wants the leader of minority in the National Assembly to be summoned and show cause for praising President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government development track record.

According to the lawmaker, Nyenze is a member of the opposition and for him to publicly declare support for another party contravenes regulations of his party and also the Political Parties Act.

“Nyenze should be summoned and explain why he declared support for Jubilee yet he is a member of the opposition,” he said as quoted by the Standard.

Makau asked the Kamba community to ignore Nyenze’s call to support Jubilee re-election and instead endorse NASA in the August 8 polls.

The MP said that Jubilee has not initiated any meaningful project in Ukambani to deserve locals support.

The Mavoko lawmaker accused Jubilee of allegedly using some Kamba politicians to cause rifts among locals ahead of the August 8 polls.

“Jubilee’s plan to divide Kamba votes will not work because the region is solidly behind NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka,” he said.

On Sunday, Nyenze was recorded on camera  asking the Kamba community to endorse UhuRuto’s re-election in the August 8 polls.

Nyenze claimed that Jubilee administration has achieved key development projects and Kamba’s should rally behind its re-election bid.

The controversial MP remarks have raised questions about his allegiance to the opposition with some analysts’ alleging that he could be a Jubilee mole within NASA.

Nyenze has however defended his statement saying that he was misquoted by the media.

The Kitui West MP says that he is in opposition and fully supports NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga’s bid.
