Machakos gubernatorial aspirant, Wavinya Ndeti has condemned the decision by Kitui West MP, Francis Nyenze, to support President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.

Nyenze, who was elected on a Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya (Opposition party), is the National Assembly Minority Leader, and has been a 'die-hard' supporter of hiss party leader Kalonzo.

However, he made an unexpected announcement, when he said Kitui residents should support Uhuru's second term bid in office, Sunday.

Things seemed to have fell out with Kalonzo and Nyenze, after Kalonzo shelved his presidential ambition, to support Opposition leader Raila Odinga for presidency.

Wavinya, who is in Wiper, attacked Nyenze, saying his move was uncalled for.

She now wants Nyenze to step aside from his position in Parliament, saying he can not be supporting the government, yet he owns a great Opposition role (office) in Parliament.

"He said that he supported our arty leader, But if he has decide to leave Nasa, for the other team, en he should step aside and let Nasa continue by its own," Wavinya said, Sunday.

She addressed reporters after she had joined faithfuls of Deliverance and First Baptist Church in Athi River, Machakos county, for a Sunday Church Service.
