A section of Kamba leaders have voiced their discontent with the unveiled NASA line-up.

National Assembly minority leader Francis Nyenze and former Wiper chairman David Musila have said that they were blindsided at the last minute by the announcement at Uhuru Park yesterday.

Leaders from Ukambani were notably absent from yesterday's unveiling of Raila Odinga as the Nasa presidential flagbearer.

According to Nyenze, Kalonzo Musyoka was the appointed flagbearer until the last moment, just before the announcement was made in Uhuru Park.

"We ought to sit, talk and consult since to the best of my knowledge, Kalonzo was the candidate," Nyenze said.

The two leaders said that Kambas will not sit and be taken for a ride. The warned that they will not just follow instructions without question.
