National Assembly minority leader Francis Nyenze has launched a scathing attack at Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Amolo Odinga for undermining other National Super Alliance (NASA). 

In an exclusive interview with the Star, Nyenze said that ODM has shown a bad example to the rest of the partners forming the political outfit. 

“ODM has set a very bad precedent because there are aspirants from partner parties who are contesting against those governors,” he told the local daily. 

Nyenze also said that a section of leaders from Kitui has been intimidating aspirants from other NASA affiliates with the aim of forcing them to shelf their ambition. 

“When we point out some of these glaring issues, they call people like me a tribalist, but when they do it, they are high priests,” he added.  

Raila’s move to give direct tickets to some of the leaders in the party has continued to attract mixed reactions from different parts of the nations. 

Some of the leaders opposed to the idea claim that the decision is likely to kill democracy with the political outfit as they seek for clinch different posts in the forthcoming general polls. Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Nairobi Counterpart are among the beneficiaries of the direct nomination.
