Francis Nyenze's widow has mourned the lawmaker who died on Wednesday morning.
The Kitui West MP suffered coronary cancer since 2008 and died on Wednesday morning while being treated at a Nairobi hospital.
The widow, Edith Nyenze said that the MP was the best thing God had given her.
"He was the best thing that God ever gave me. He was a politician but he was faithful to his wife. He was a Christian," she said while addressing the press at the Lee Funeral Home.
She further revealed that Nyenze had undergone treatment in UK nad India.
By Tuesday evening, Edith said that Nyenze was feeding on his own and even speaking.
Leaders including President Uhuru Kenyatta, DP William Ruto and Opposition chief Raila Odinga have sent condolence messages to Nyenze's family and friends.
