The race for the Wiper ticket in the Kitui West by-election was a walk in the park for one Edith Nyenze.

Edith is widow to former area MP the late Francis Nyenze.

Out of 65 polling stations Edith thrashed KItili Maluki by garnering 13, 388 as the latter managed a slightly 2, 663 votes.

Unlike a miracle happens, Edith will hence inherit the seat which fell vacant after her husband died on December 6 last year.
