Nyeri County speaker painfully confessed that what he saw in Gakuru's life was so unique and incompatible with any other leader whom he has ever come across.
Speaking on K24 Wednesday, Kagucia said that the entire Nyeri county and the country at large have lost a great leader who was ready to offer his help to anyone who was in need despite different tastes in political alignments.
''I truly feel like one of my organ has been struck off in me. Wahome Gakuru was my closest friend whom I could easily liaise with and he would attend to my issue according to his own ability. He regarded work than titles I remember one day I called him 'Excellency' as many of the Governors are referred to.To my disappointment, he refuted the title saying that it was not important for him at the moment.He told me to wait for five years spectrum and see whether the gravity of the title counts on him,''he eulogized.
The county speaker requested all Kenyans to pray for the bereaved family and the county as well.
