Nyeri residents have faulted the delivery portal launched by the government.

According to the residents, the portal contains inaccurate and misleading information about projects in the area.

They took issue with Chaka market whose construction is ongoing but the portal indicates that it is 100 per cent complete and has used Sh476 million.

After the concern was raised on Twitter, Business Daily reported that the data was changed after a follow-up.

Chaka market is now marked as 22 per cent complete instead of 100 per cent as earlier indicated.

“Locals are not getting value for their tax and feel cheated. The site has no accurate information because the road contractor is moving very slowly,” one of the residents is quoted by Business Daily.
