And to President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong'o, the former perfectly fits their newfound relationship.

After President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga's unexpected political ceasefire last week, politicians from two opposing sides have abandoned their hardline positions and embraced each other. 

And even when Uhuru left for Cuba on an official visit, he was joined by Prof. Nyong'o, a key Raila Odinga political lieutenant who barely three weeks ago declared that ' Kenya is ripe for a revolution' as quoted by the Standard. 

The Kisumu County boss is representing the Council of Governors where he is a member of the Health Committee.

While in Cuba, in one of the pictures, Uhuru and Prof. Nyong'o have been captured engaged in a deep conversation, a complete departure from what used to happen a couple of weeks ago.
