Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o is out of the county attending an African Union (AU) event at Bamako in Mali.
The Kisumu county boss jetted out of the Country to attend a High Level forum of the African Union.
He was invited to the meeting by the AU representative and SAHEL H.E Pierre Buyoya, former president of Burundi, H.E Ms, Minata Samate Cessouma, AU commissioner for Political Affairs and Hon. Alhassane Moussa Minister Local Government, Mali.
In a Facebook post, Nyong'o noted that the meeting was created for sharing experiences on decentralization in Africa.
“Today I attended a High Level forum of the African Union (A.U) for sharing experiences on decentralization in Africa,” he said.
Nyong’o addressed the forum on Kenya’s experiences with devolution.
The meeting was convened jointly by the AU and the United Nations in Bamako, Mali.
