[Photo|County Government of Kisumu]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o has called on residents to remove all the barricades put on several roads.Speaking after the IEBC postponed planned Saturday election, the governor said the postponement brings a lot of relief to the people of Kisumu.Nyong'o demanded that the police deployed in the county should go back for the people to resume their normal life, Friday. "The police deployed here because of elections can now go back to their noble bases and resume their normal life there, so that we can continue to live in peace and build the economy and society of Kisumu County."Governor Nyong'o also cited alleged skirmishes between Kisumu and Kericho counties which he said were being peddled by opportunist, who want to take advantage of the current elections and conduct border conflict.He said he would meet his Kericho counterpart Governor Paul Chepkwony, Saturday October 28, to avert the situation.
