Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o has refused to use the office used by former governor Jack Ranguma.
According to Nyong'o he would not be able to get enough work done in the office, so the governor has opted to refurbish a different office.
He further shared that the former governor's office was moved from the ninth floor of the building to the second as he attempted to to take the building from the national government .
"I do not like the ninth floor office. I am more productive in the second floor. Must I suffer in the ninth floor just because a lot of money was used to renovate it? My work is more important than the corruption that informed the renovating of the ninth floor office," said Nyong'o as reported by The Standard.
Ranguma had been heavily criticized by Nyon'go and many others for initially moving the office to the ninth floor making him less accessible.
"If somebody tells you that Sh100 million was used to build hell and Sh1 million used to build heaven, would you go to hell because it is expensive?" asked Nyong'o.
