[Photo|Anyang Nyong'o]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o and his Deputy Dr Ochieng Owili are in Kwale county for the induction of governors and their deputies from the country's 47 counties.The theme of the 3-day workshop is "Better governance and accountability for ultimate devolution dividends to all Kenyans".The meeting will see the county bosses dissecting and being taken through key topics of discussion ranging from public financial management, intergovernmental relations, county planning and performance management for effective and efficient service delivery to the role of development partners in devolution.Some of the panelists that will take them through these areas of interest include Diarietou Gaye - Country Director World Bank, Ishmail Fahmy - CEO Water Services Trust fund, Dr Ludeki Chweya - Director Kenya School of Government, Sarah Serem of SRC among other professionals.The workshop will form the basis of which the governors and their deputies will run operations in their respective counties.
