[Photo/Governor Nyong'o]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o alongside his deputy Dr Ochieng' Owili graced Urafiki UTSAV and India 70 years of independence celebrations at Hindu Temple, on Sunday.The event was hosted by Indian High Commissioner to Kenya Suchitra Durai.Governor Nyong'o outlined the colossal relationship between India and Kenya since independence and further appreciated the contribution of the Hindu community both socially and economically in Kisumu County.They had a chance of enjoying Classical Kathak Dance by Padma Bhushan Dr Uma Sharma & Troupe.Also present was Kisumu City Manager Madam Doris Ombara, Tourism CEC nominee Achie Alai, Director Administration Abala Wanga, Director Protocol Bob Madanji, and Investment Advisor Kisumu County Victor Nyagaya.
