[Photo|Eddy Illah]The Governor of Kisumu County Prof Anyang Nyong'o met representatives from various hotels for a consultative meeting to clarify his earlier statement that had been misquoted and taken out of proportion by a section of media. The governor clarified that he did not ban any hotel meetings as was reported by some media outlets. He shared his elaborate plan on hospitality industry with the representatives, Tuesday.The meeting was attended by the Kisumu Business Community leader, Israel Agina, the Kenya Association of Hoteliers chairman William Orondo, Royal City Hotel manager Phelix Owiti, Kisumu Hotel manager Robert Obel, Jumuia Hotel manager Emmanuel Waya and the Great Lakes Hotel manager Dr Awino Kisera.
