[Photo|Kisumu County Government Press Unit]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o and his Deputy Dr Matthew Ochieng visited the family of Mike, a Form Four, student, who was shot dead on Monday at Kondele while buying Ice cream, as NASA demonstrations were going on.Nyong'o assured the deceased's mother of the County government's commitment to ensure Mike gets a befitting burial. The governor later visited the family of the two-year-old, baby Shantell Mitchell who was shot at the elbow joint while playing at their home in Nyamasaria.The girl underwent a successful operation, at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital, to remove the bullet.Also present were Chief of staff Patrick Ouya, MCAs Joachim Oketch, Pamela Ogembo, Steve Owiti and Ojwang' Ogendo.
