[Photo|Anyang' Nyong'o]As he continues to recover from hipbone surgery in San Fransico, Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong'o is still working with his staff back in the lakeside city.He has adopted the use of teleconferencing and social media platforms to ensure his cabinet is working towards his development plan.Nyong'o held a Skype meeting with his Executive Committee where he was briefed on the status of development in the county in his absence. The Standard established that the move was set to ensure the recent attacks that politicians launched against his staff do not infiltrate into service delivery.The teleconferencing took about two hours as the governor also gave instructions to his cabinet on the activities they should kick start.County secretary Olang’o Onudi and Deputy Governor Mathew Owili were present during the Skype meeting even as Nyong'o briefed them on his health status.
