Kisumu County Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o has commended on a meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA coalition leader Raila Odinga on Friday.
As an ODM governor, Nyong'o said he would not discuss the matter yet, but would ensure he makes a statement over the matter.
Nyong'o noted it was too soon for him or ODM party to make a comment about the same.
"I won’t discuss the next course of action as the party but will make an announcement in due time in my capacity as one of the party's (ODM) principals," he said on Friday.
Speaking when he alongside Nyong'o commissioned large scale farming of sorghum at Kano Kobura in Nyando sub county, Nyando MP Jared Okello welcomed the meeting, saying it was a good gesture towards the country's unity.
He however said all NASA parties should have been included in the discussions.
NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka said they were not consulted and that they learned about the meeting through the media.
The MP further reiterated that the IEBC cannot operate independently as currently constituted hence the need to make random surgery to the body.
