Migori governor Okoth Obado has warned two ODM senators, against interfering with affairs in his county.
This follows recent chaos that rocked an ODM rally in the county earlier in the week, with ODM deputy party leader, Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho escaping death by a whisker.
Obado accused senators James Orengo (Siaya) and Prof Anyang' Nyong'o (Kisumu), of misleading Joho to take sides in his county, by supporting his rival, Rongo MP Achillo Ayacko.
Ayacko seeks an ODM party ticket, to unseat Obado. During the rally at Posta Grounds, Orengo and Nyong'o were also present.
Obado who is also an ODM governor, said the two misled Joho to endorse some candidates, which is against the party regulations.
"They should stop hanging on the coat-tails of ODM party leader (Raila Odinga) so as to be relevant. We believe in free, fair nominations in Migori, and it should be so. they should concentrate in their counties,'' Obado warned, Tuesday.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko, has since ordered for investigations into the mayhem.
