In bid to drum up support for his gubernatorial bid, Kisumu senator Prof Anyang Nyong'o toured areas in Kisumu Central, asking locals to vote him-in.
Accompanied by Nyando MP, Fred Outa, Nyong'o listened to the issues they raised, saying they would be addressed as soon as they assume office after the August 8, elections.
Speaking Thursday, the lawmaker pledged to modernise Kisumu Bus Stage and operate a functional City Management Board that would look into the affairs of urban residents of Kisumu.
The meet-the-people tour came few days after the lawmaker held a re-election campaign at Nairobi's Inter-Continental Hotel, March 23.
His family, friends, comrades, and colleagues joined together in support of his campaign.
''This was the first in many steps to come during this journey. "The Mission Is Possible" for Kisumu. More on my manifesto and agenda for Kisumu county, coming soon,'' he said.
