Nyong'o present as governors hold Extra Ordinary Council meeting, Thursday

The Council of Governors (CoG) held the Extra Ordinary Council meeting at its headquarters in Nairobi.

The meeting chaired by chairman Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok, was attended by several county bosses from across the country including Anyang Nyong'o (Kisumu), Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), Cyprian Awiti (Homa Bay), Cornel Rasanga (Homa Bay), Salim Mvurya (Kwale), Mwangi Wa Iria (Murang'a), Martin Wambora (Embu), Kiraitu Murungi (Meru), Jackson Mandago (Uasin Gishu), Okoth Obado (Migori), Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) among others.

The agenda included;

 

1. The Nurses CBA

2. Amendment to the CARA to incorporate World Bank monies for Urban Development (Implementation is January 2018)

3. Centralised of procurement of cancer drugs and supplies through Ministry of Health

4. Other Urgent Matters
