Slain Iebc ICT manager Chris Musando was murdered by people who felt that his integrity was beyond reproach, Kisumu senator Prof Anyang Nyongo has claimed.
Speaking in an interview with NTV on Monday, Nyongo said that Musando had shown due diligence in conducting his affairs at the critical Iebc docket and this might have set him at a warpath with his killers.
The former cabinet minister added that the gruesome murder of Musando was an indication of a ploy to tamper with the August polls and asked the police to expedite investigations into the matter.
Musando's badly mutilated body was found in Kikuyu forest barely a day after he was reported missing.
According to Iebc chairman Wafula Chebukati, Musando was an intergral member of the electoral team whose death has greatly undermined the team's preparedness for the August 8 polls which are barely 6 days away.
