The duo are part of the Jaza Lorry iniative, a programme that seeks to raise funds to combat drought and hunger in different parts of the country.

The project also involves collecting foodstuffs which will be distributed to victims.

Nyota Ndogo has called upon her fans and other residents in the Coast region to come out and lend a helping hand to the affected individuals during the campaign.

“It is sad when you visit these homes and see what the locals are going through. While we may have personal contributions to this event, I want to urge my fans to come in large numbers and help support this great initiative,” she stated, as quoted by MediaMax.

The upcoming event has been organized by Red Cross Kwale Branch and will take place on November 26, 2016 at the Ukunda Showground.
