Residents of Nyota ward in Molo constituency are lamenting the size of sacks used by businesspeople to package potatoes.
The farmers said the sacks are too big and take alot of potatoes despite the poor pay.
According to John Kamau, a farmer at Kahuho village, the sack is bought by middlemen at Sh 1000.
"These potato buyers are cheating us by telling us they have reduced the sack into 50 kilograms but they are adding another sack on top of this sack plus the net," he said.
The farmer lamented that the packaging is unfair to farmers.
