CS Cecily Kariuki said that half of the money will go to suppliers who had conducted business with the National Youth Service.

Kariuki who took over the CS docket in December last year had stopped the payments immediately after the ministry lost more than Sh 791 million to cynical payments which led to sacking and prosecution of top NYS officials.

Cecily Kariuki was speaking at Kiarithaini Primary school in Mathira Constituency in Nyeri County during the launch of the digital literacy programme where he issued 78 learning tablets to class one pupils.
