The chairman of the Nyumba Kumi Initiative Joseph Kaguthi has lashed out at the Kenyan media for giving undue publicity to the rising cases of domestic violence.According to Mr. Kaguthi, media publicity is fueling domestic violence in the country.He urged the media to tone down on its coverage of domestic violence cases, saying that it was not the right thing to do in the context of rising cases of domestic violence.''We agree that the media has a responsibility to shine a spotlight on what is happening in the country. My concern is that undue coverage is fueling domestic violence cases,'' Mr. Kaguthi said.The Nyumba Kumi Initiative chairman spoke in at Kenol in Muranga County.
