Nzoia Sugar Company MD, Godfrey Sifuna was on Friday charged with embezzlement of Sh11.2 million.

Sifuna was charged alongside the company's Chief Cashier  John Wanyonyi and five other officials.

They denied the charges before Bungoma Magistrate, Robert Mogute.

Each accused person was released on a cash bail of 1 million shillings or a bond of 3 million shillings each.
