The ODM National Election Board has cleared Migori governor Okoth Obado to vie on the party's ticket.
The board had been directed to withdraw nomination certificates of Obado and his rival Ochillo Ayacko.
In a statement on Tuesday, National Elections Board Chairperson Judith Pareno that stated the decision was made after an investigation of the results.
"...the Board considered the report by the three-man team that was sent to investigate the mishandling of nominations results," Pareno said.
Pareno added that the report recommended the upholding of the initial results by the County Returning Officer.
Chaos erupted at ODM nominations in Migori after both Obado ad Ochillo were declared winners in parallel tallying centres last week.
