Migori governor Okoth Obado has been found guilty by ODM disciplinary committee for causing chaos.
The committee ordered the governor to pay a Sh2 million fine for ordering youths to forcefully storm ODM offices and causing the violence recently witnessed in Migori.
Also, the governor was ordered to tender in a written apology to ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
He has seven days to comply with the ruling or be disqualified from contesting on the party's ticket.
During the meeting, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, senators Anyang Nyong'o (Kisumu), James Orengo (Siaya) and Suna East MP Junet Mohammed were left untouched as no recommendations were made against them.
