Media reports indicate that former U.S president Barack Obama will visit Kenya on July 16 ahead of his lecture in South Africa.

His itinerary in Kenya will include a stop at the state house for talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his ancestral K'Ogello home.

This will be his first visit to the country since leaving power in 2016 after serving his two-term presidency.
