World 1,500m champion Elijah Manangoi and World champion Hellen Obiri were on Thursday evening crowned AK Athletes of the Year at a gala night in Nairobi.

Manangoi was named as the Male Athlete of the Year, while Obiri clinched the Female  Athlete of the Year award.
