Former Kisii County senator who is also Jubilee key man in the region Mr Chris Obure has now faulted the party leaders for pushing a section of MPs to resign from key house committees barely few days after they were voted in.
According to Obure the MPs Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills), Silas Tiren (Moiben), James Gakuya (Embakasi North) and Kangogo Bowen (Marakwet East) were supposed to serve as committee heads and urged Jubilee heads to source for other jobs to reward them. Speaking in Sameta area on Tuesday Obure urged president Uhuru and his deputy to avoid internal conflict as they may lead to a drift in Jubilee.
"Its unfortunate that Jubilee leadership have been pushing the oust the four MPs from key committees and yet they were voted in legally and I would urge president Uhuru to stop the idea and source for another job for his close confidants, " said Obure
