Kisii county Senator Chris Obure has said the constitution allows him to vie for any political post in the country.
This comes when he was asked by the press to announce officially which post is eying come 2017 and he said he will contest for any political post and nobody should hinder him.
Speaking to journalist on Thursday, Obure said he has been asked to contest for Kisii county gubernatorial seat in 2017 to save residents from money misuse and to facilitate developing in all parts of the county.
“First What I need in Kisii region is unity then soon I will announce which post I am going to contest for because I have a right to contest for any political post,” said Obure.
He also challenged Kisii county residents and politicians not to politicise Omogusii unity movement but to support it to have a bargaining power in the national government
