Kisii county Deputy Governor Joash Maangi and his counterpart Senator Chris Obure have been accused of sabotaging development agendas set by the county government under the leadership of Governor Ongwae.
According to Kisii county, Women Representative Mrs Mary Otara, the duo has for the past two years failed to work alongside Governor James Ongwae a move that has left the governor to work as a lone ranger under pressure.
She said it is high time for the locals to ensure that they vote them out.
“The residents should know that Obure and Maangi are the biggest failures in Kisii county and they need to be sent home as early as eight come August as that is the only way we can save our county from irresponsible leaders,” she added.
The Women Rep also added that they have already known those who can easily deliver and those who are up for self-interest.
Otara called upon the residents to ensure that they keenly vet the aspirants looking for elective seats so that they can vote it the best leaders who are development oriented.
She was speaking on Tuesday while on a mission to sentisise the locals to ensure that register as voters at Bomariba area.
