NASA's People Assembly motion in Kisii County is set to face major blocks as former Raila Odinga's ally Chris Obure vowed to lobby NASA affiliated MCA's to boycott the move.

According to former Kisii senator who ditched NASA for Jubilee, the motion has no importance to any of the locals and he will use his influence to stop it.

"We're aware that Kisii County is set to table the motion in few days time but I won't allow it to succeed as it will directly affect all the development projects that were promised by Jubilee," said Obure.

The Jubilee point man in the region said despite the fact Jubilee has few MCA's in the region, they would ensure that the motion doesn’t see the light of day.

He, however, ruled out bribery strategy saying the majority of the elected MCA's believe in jubilee agenda for the region despite the fact they were elected under NASA parties.

Speaking at Mwembe area when he visited the families of the recent cholera victims Obure urged all locals to believe in his sense of direction and ignore self-interest centered politicians.
