This comes after rampant reports of unlawful sexual involvement with minors.

Speaking in his office on Monday at Masinga Constituency, Yatta Sub-County, Mwangi made it clear that his office will not sit down and watch molesters going away free.

“The government will not watch selfish men take advantage of underage girls by sexually abusing them. The victim is always the one on the losing end. Most of the time those girls ends up pregnant, hence dropping out of school,” said Mwangi.

Mwangi notes that education is a constitutional right to every child in Kenya and no one is supposed to bar them from accessing it.

The OCS further assured that the police officers in Masinga Constituency together with the area chiefs and community policy officers will see sex culprits arrested.

"The police department together with the area chief have united to report all cases of child molestion. This will see culprits face the law,” said Mwangi.

Mwangi said the move will help girl child to access education without interruption.

This comes a few days after two middle aged men found having sex with school going girls in the constituency.
