[October 26 was not an election but a Jubilee party referendum, Kisii county senator Sam Ongeri said.Ongeri said President Uhuru can't rule given that only 39 percent of the registered voter's turned out to participate in the disputed poll.
“Jubilee Party concluded its referendum on October 26. I now call on president Kenyatta to dialogue with opposition leader Raila Odinga,” the ODM senator said.
According to Ongeri, a dialogue is the only option left for the sake of peace in the country.
"As a country, we want peace and this will be achieved through dialogue to solve the political wrangles in the country," he noted.
IEBC on Monday declared Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto as the president and deputy president elect respectively.
NASA leader Raila Odinga withdrew from the race and asked supporters to boycott the polls saying IEBC was not ready to offer free, fair and credible poll.
