Rapper Henry Ohanga alias Octopizzo has refuted claims of bad blood between himself and 'One Centimeter' musician cum politician hitmaker bb Njagua Kanyi better known by his stage name Jaguar.
Speaking in an interview on KISS TV Tuesday, the 'Namba Nane' hitmaker who was recently involved in an ugly brawl with the Starehe member of parliament downplayed any enmity terming it as a small collision.
The two took each other head-on and were recently involved in a bitter exchange on social media with Octopizzo accusing Jaguar of leniency. He took issue with his silence over extrajudicial killings during the post-election demonstrations. However, Octo now says that they are still the best of friends.
''We only differed because I honestly think that Jaguar should have used his position to defend innocent citizens and although it culminated to a small disagreement, we are still close friends. He calls me regularly and vice versa,'' he said.
The Kibera-born lyricist, however, vowed to keep pressuring Jaguar and all the other young politicians within his reach to step up for the people.
''I expect the likes of Jaguar to defend the people and will not allow them to sit pretty when human rights are being infringed,'' said Octopizzo.
