Rapper Henry Ohanga better known by his stage name Octopizzo has called upon the youth to shun the current political stalemate rocking the country.
Speaking on Citizen TV Wednesday, the 'Namba nane' hitmaker cautioned the young people to desist from the political pressure emanating from both Jubilee and NASA with regards to the October 26 presidential repeat poll.
He advised them to instead focus and engage in matters streamlining their destiny rather than assuming the responsibilities of the political class.
"I wish to appeal to the younger generation to take control of their lives.This is the golden opportunity they have to make sure that their future is bright by doing what adds value in their lives.Be principled and ensure that no politician will ever use you as a tool to create anarchy in our country," said the hip-hop singer.
The Kibera based musician also reacted on the bouts of violence simmered on parts of Kenya propagated by the disputed presidential poll.He pleaded with the leaders both from Jubilee and NASA to seek alternative means of restoring norms that are beneficial to all people as it will arrest tensions spinning.
