ODM leader Raila Odinga now claims that perceived rivalry between him and Kikuyu community is a creation of Kikuyu leaders.
Odinga, 72 is making his forth and perhaps final stab at presidency and will be taking on incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta.
And on Tuesday at Kiambu, Odinga said his government will be inclusive should he be elected as President in August.
“I have worked well with Kikuyu community before and I will work with them all the time. I even campaigned for Mwai Kibaki when he was involved in an accident,” he said.
He added: “But your leaders hoodwink elders who come here to say I am a mad man. But I have a good heart for every Kenyan.”
Prior to his mega rally in Kenyatta’s Kiambu home turf, Odinga made a brief stopover in Limuru where he got a rousing welcome.
He was accompanied by Nairobi Women Representative aspirant Esther Passaris, who appealed to Central Kenya community to vote the veteran leader.
