Speaking on Radio Jambo Saturday, the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga ally faulted Ruto's blockage from meeting the ex-head of state, terming the move as disrespectful.

He accused Moi's son and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi of spearheading the act in a bid to get back to Ruto whom he has been lately engaged in a supremacy battle, noting that the move is likely to cost him in the future.

"What happened was unfautonate and embarrassing. The Deputy President should be respected. The people included in the plot, including Gideon Moi,should know that Kenyans are watching and will be out to revisit it come 2022," said the lawmaker.

The vocal lawmaker further took a swipe at his Tiaty counterpart William Kamket who has since defended Gideon, claiming that Ruto was denied access for failing to secure an appointment with Moi.

He told off the legislator telling him to cease interfering in the issue and let it be handled by the involved entities.

"Contrary to Kamket's view, Ruto did not need any appointment to meet Moi. Kamket should actually stop interfering in this issue as he is neither Ruto's nor Moi's spokesperson," added the Orange partly parliamentarian.

The Thursday event has since elicited mixed reactions nationally with both Ruto and the Mois, however, remaining silent.
