Opposition leader Raila Odinga says Jubilee administration fears implementing TJRC report because most of her top officials are direct beneficiaries of massive looting.

On Tuesday, DP William Ruto said implementation of the report will open ‘past wounds’ and disintegrate progressive cohesion Jubilee has brought about.

But in Samburu, Odinga took a jibe at Jubilee administration adding that top leaders were direct beneficiaries of injustices imposed on ordinary Kenyans.

“The best way to bring reconciliation is to implement recommendations of TJRC so that everyone gets his share in case they suffered under past regimes.

“Jubilee does not want to implement the report since most of her top leaders including Ruto are beneficiaries of previous atrocities on innocent people,” said Odinga.

Tabled in 2014 by the deceased diplomat Bethwell Kiplagat, the report has never been brought to parliament for recommendations.

And Odinga says once he takes over in August, he will ensure parliament adopts the report for the sake of unifying Kenya as a nation.
