[Photo|Raila Odinga]NASA principal Raila Odinga is scheduled to arrive in Washington DC on Wednesday morning November 8.This is according to his adviser Salim Lone.Lone said Odinga will arrive in Washington at 8am for a 5-day high level visit.Even though there has been no official communication about the visit, reports indicate the former Prime Minister will leave the country this (Tuesday) evening for the US to address the Congress which is split into two; The Senate, headed by Vice President Mike Pence, and House of Representatives, under Speaker Paul Ryan.Odinga's address will be to a joint sitting of both Houses, where he will use the opportunity to explain why he boycotted the fresh presidential election on October 26th.He will also outline his next steps, and offer his prognosis for Kenya’s democratic health, peace, and stability and NASA's quest for electoral democracy.
