Raila Odinga has once again proclaimed his love for Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia. Speaking after attending the Kenya Open Golf tournament in Muthaiga, Odinga said he would stick to watching soccer and supporting his favorite team; Gor Mahia.

“It was nice watching the 2018 Barclays Kenya Open but I think I'll stick to watching the Mighty Gor Mahia #BKO2018 #KenyaOpenAt50,” he wrote on his Facebook account. 

The tournament, which was also attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta and other government officials, was the premier event of the competitive tourney.

At the event, the Former Prime Minister, who was invited to the event by the President, said they have agreed to unite Kenyans so as to allow the country to progress.

“I have felt very thrilled by what I saw here I have seen talent played here. We need to promote golf in our schools so we can scout talent at very young age so that talent can be developed,” said the former Prime Minister.

Odinga is a known supporter of Gor Mahia, and is the current patron of the club, and has attended several competitive matches with the club.

Internationally, Odinga supports Arsenal FC.
