Opposition leader Raila Odinga described Sunday’s rally at Jacaranda grounds in Nairobi as ‘breathtaking and unusual’ in his first rally in as many days after Supreme Court ruling that  nullified Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory.

The opposition leader will be meeting President Kenyatta for the third time in less than five years in a battle associated with old Jaramogi Oginga and Jomo Kenyatta battles.

And at the rally, Odinga revisited history where he said in his many rallies at the region, the Sunday’s meeting was extraordinary.

“This is my first time here and I am happy that people have come in numbers. It is unusual and breathtaking,” he said.

“I am humbled that you have come in large numbers. This is historical and I wish some of the comrades in struggle showed up today.”

At the rally, Odinga maintained that he would not go for an election until IEBC meets certain conditions among them radical reforms within the secretariat.

Some of legendary multiparty crusaders like Abuya Abuya have termed his speech at the rally as ‘revolutionary and encouraging’.
