ODM leader Raila Odinga on Thursday called his NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka and talked in length about the rumored fallout within the opposition coalition.

This is after Kalonzo’s ally and National Assembly Minority Leader Francis Nyenze maintained that the Wiper Party will go it alone if Musyoka is not named NASA flag bearer.

And in an impromptu stopover in Kisii town, Odinga assured his supporters that Musyoka would not bolt out of the opposition.

“Kalonzo is like a beautiful wife whom everyone wants to marry. They are creating propaganda to cause anxiety within the opposition,” he said.

Odinga added: “I called him this morning and he assured me that he is not going anywhere. He is one of us and you can take that to bank.”

With barely five months to elections, the opposition NASA is yet to name its flag bearer who will face a much organized Jubilee team.

And in the recent weeks, Mr. Musyoka has insisted that he will not go for anything less than presidency in the August elections.
