ODM leader Raila Odinga may have changed his campaign strategy following order by the Supreme Court to IEBC to conduct fresh presidential campaigns.

For the third time in a row, Odinga will be facing President Uhuru Kenyatta in another battle of titans later on in October.

And throughout his tour to Gusii on Tuesday, Odinga shifted from his traditional huge rallies at designated venues to roadside rallies.

“We cannot do things the same way all the time. We must reach more people and that is why we changed tactic,” said Kisii Governor James Ongwae.

He added:”We shall move from market center to another to reach more Kenyans and that is our plan. We shall deliver more votes.”

Previously, Odinga would hold major rallies at specific places across the country, a move that could jeopardize a number of his supporters.

At Kisii, he made stopovers in Nyamira, Kebirigo, Keroka, Kisii town and Kisumu and only confined himself to addressing critical issues.
