ODM leader Raila Odinga may have changed his campaign strategy if at all what his party chairman John Mbadi says stands.

Previously, Odinga had used traditional campaign tactic of making a stopover at a designated area, where he addresses his supporters.

And Mbadi said on Wednesday that all NASA MPs will be required to hold campaigns in their respective regions with flag bearer Odinga also expected to make stopovers in various market centers.

“We shall have all our elected members manning their respective regions and this means not all leaders will be allowed to escort party leader,” he said.

Mbadi added:”We shall move in every market center and pass the message. Our main aim is to have a high voter turnout.”

True to Mbadi’s statement, On Tuesday, Odinga made several stopovers in Kisii and Nyamira Counties where he literally took charge of the entire trip.

Similar campaign methodology has been adopted by President Uhuru Kenyatta in most of his campaigns and was replicated in his Thursday’s trip to Uasin Gishu and West Pokot.
