Opposition leader Raila Odinga says IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati was under duress to pronounce Uhuru Kenyatta as president.

On Friday, Uhuru Kenyatta was declared President-Elect, a move that did not go down well with opposition team.

And on Tuesday, Odinga said he will ensure the whole world knows what happened in the country during the August elections.

“The commission had little choice but to falsify results because it was under metaphorical gunpoint from Uhuru Kenyatta’s camp,” said Odinga alluding to Chebukati’s pronouncement.

He added: “With the experience of what happened to Msando, they were very frightened.  I am not going to be candidate again but we want Kenyans know what happened.”

Results trickled by IEBC showed Odinga trailing Kenyatta at 44 percent with Uhuru scoring 54 percent of votes cast.

Tuesday’s elections were practically the last for Mr Odinga, who is well known for his resilient in fighting for democratization of the country.
